Before setting up Calm People Julian worked with the British Association of Anger Management (BAAM) for 2 ½ years citing that time as one of his most accelerated periods of personal growth in his life so far and one which he is deeply grateful for. In setting up Calm People he is extending the great work that BAAM do into mainstream areas and delivering emotional resilience programmes to businesses and individuals alike. The innovation and passion Julian has for emotional resilience both in the home and at work shows through in the testimonials from his many happy clients.

Julian’s work encompasses everything from delivering workshops on how to identify and beat your anger, to helping individuals to combat stress by improving their emotional resilience.

Julian’s continually evolving mindset has led to him developing an innovative training product for HGV and Bus/Coach drivers which is unique and will soon be licensed to several major national hauliers.

Julian chose to set up Calm People because he wanted to continue to bring emotional resilience, emotional control and core personal development into the main stream and make it more accessible. This comes from his central belief that everyone would benefit from this work.

With his extensive business experience, Julian helps businesses deliver on the statement “Our employees are our greatest asset.” Julian’s continually evolving mindset is ideally equipped to supporting workforce innovation thus supporting employees to be fully equipped to take advantage of an increasingly changing and moving business environment. He is a regular commentator on BBC and other radio networks and is demand as an engaging and challenging speaker.
